Grid-connected Photovoltaics
Technology
The photovoltaic (PV) modules convert the solar irradiation into DC current
which is then transformed in AC current by a grid synchronous inverter.
The AC current is injected into the electrical distribution network. An
electricity meter is measuring the energy supplied to the grid by the
PV generator which is sold to the utility at a competitive price.
